Horry County police charged Brandon Javon Parker, 27, of Conway with Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Attempted Murder.

Police arrested Parker Tuesday. They say he shot someone on Old Pire Way and Parker Road off Highway 905 near Conway.

Police used a K-9 team to track him down in less than an hour after the shooting happened.

The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.

Parker has been held in J. Reuben Detention Center since.
