A jury found a Florence County man guilty of murder Wednesday.

Solicitor Ed Clements tells NewsChannel 15 the jury deliberated just 15 minutes before finding Scott Lee, 34, guilty of murder and arson.

Judge Michael Nettles sentenced Lee to 40 years in prison.

In 2010, Lee killed Michael Ford on Pygatt Road near Effingham. Someone found Ford's body in a ditch and called 9-1-1.

Clements says Lee burned a car to get rid of evidence in the crime.
