Rebecca Parker Elliott, who was mentioned in the indictments against former Lt. Governor Ken Ard, has resigned from her current campaign.

Elliott was a scheduler for candidate Jay Jordan.

Jordan is running for the new 7th congressional district and Elliott has worked with Jordan since he announced his candidacy in November.

Ard resigned Friday and was convicted for ethics violations.
