Friday, the two Tanger Outlets locations in Myrtle Beach donated nearly $80,000 to three charities to help fight breast cancer.

Caring in Our Lifetime, the Conway Medical Center Foundation and Carolina Cancer Foundation each received $26,365.36.

In October, customers at the two Tanger Outlets could buy a Pink Card for a dollar and receive 25 percent off a purchase. Those dollars added up to nearly $80,000 that will go to breast cancer awareness and medical expenses for patients.

The Tanger Outlets also donated $1,000 each to the Horry County Police Department and Horry County Fire Rescue.
