Florence County deputies charged Treavis Neon Peterson, 32, of Timmonsville with Unlawful Neglect of a Child.

According to Investigators, on or about November 9, 2011, Peterson inflicted non-accidental bodily injury on a small child in his custody and care which required inpatient hospital care.

At a hearing Thursday, a Florence County Magistrate set bond at $5000 for Peterson's release.
