Horry County Fire Rescue says one person was taken to Conway Medical Center for possible smoke inhalation after a house fire.

Firefighters were called to the home on Rainer Street about 9:20 a.m. Monday. They were able to contain the fire to the kitchen.

Conway Fire Department provided mutual aid.

Firefighters say the fire started with cooking.
