Florence County deputies arrested a New York man Wednesday for trafficking marijuana.

They say Jose Antonetti, 29, had 21 pounds of pot when he was stopped on Interstate 95.

Deputies stopped Antonetti for a traffic violation while traveling north on the interstate. They say he had two duffle bags full of high-grade marijuana containing 39 vacuum sealed bags.

Deputies estimate the street value at $100,000.

Antonetti is being held at the Florence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
