HCPD searching for Bank Robbery suspect in Little River

UPDATE: Police capture Bank robbery suspect.

Lt. Ghent with the Horry County Police Department tells NewsChannel 15 officers captured Christopher Wilson Scott in the Intracoastal Waterway near the Eastport golf community in Little River.

Lt. Ghent with the Horry County Police Department says Police are in foot pursuit of an armed bank robbery suspect.

The suspect was spotted on Highway 17 in Little River.

Ghent says the suspect was last seen in the Eastport golf community area and they have reason to believe the suspect is Christopher Wilson Scott.

Brunswick County Deputies say Christopher Wilson Scott, 38, of Little River robbed the Security Savings Bank in Calabash on Monday.

SC Highway Patrol and the Brunswick County Sheriff's Department are also investigating.

Police say the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
