Laurinburg police say Tuesday night, Yasin Geedi, was closing up at the Number One Stop convenience store on North Main Street when someone shot and killed him.

Officers found Geedi lying outside the store in pool of blood.

He was taken to Scotland Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators are following up on some information to develop leads on a suspect.
