HORRY COUNTY -- Conway police charged Richard Mcleod, Jr., 44, of Aynor with three counts of Entering Bank, Depository or Building and Loan Association with the Intent to Steal for three recent bank robberies in Conway.

Horry County police arrested Mcleod Wednesday after they say he robbed the First Federal Bank in the Walmart near Surfside Beach.

Conway police say about 5:30 p.m. on October 28, Mcleod robbed the Anderson Brothers Bank on Church Street. Bank employees say he presented the teller with a note demanding money and indicated he had a weapon, but didn't show one. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

They say on October 31 at about 11:40 a.m. Mcleod robbed the First Federal Bank on Church Street by handing the teller a note demanding money.

And on November 8 at 10:20 a.m., Conway police say Mcleod robbed the BB&T Bank on the corner of Highway 501 and Singleton Ridge Road, again with a note.

No one was hurt in any of the robberies.

His bond was sent in Conway at $150,000. We don't yet know his bond for the Horry County bank robbery.
