Horry County is getting a new boat ramp on the Intracoastal Waterway. It's set to be built on six acres at the corner of Kings Road and Highway 22.

It's expected to cost $1.92 million.

The Horry County Transportation Committee approved $600,000 for the project. Horry County Parks and Recreation contributed $150,000.

South Carolina State Water Recreation funds provided another $150,000.
