COLUMBIA -- South Carolina's economy still is struggling, but its tax and other revenue collections are recovering - meaning S.C. lawmakers will have an extra $920.5 million to spend when they return to Columbia in January.

The state's Board of Economic Advisors on Thursday approved adding the extra money to the state's projected income.
