Firefighters with Horry County Fire Rescue and the Myrtle Beach Fire Department responded to the scene of a deadly house fire in Myrtle Beach around 3 a.m. Thursday.

Horry County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard says Brenda Casey, 49, died in the home at 3017 Shetland Lane.

A cause of the fire is under investigation.
