Bi-Lo distributes more than $4.5 million to charities

Bi-Lo distributed $4,677,675 to local charities in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia. The money was raised at Bi-Lo's annual Charity Classic golf tournament held in June.

Around 23 charities in our area received funds Monday at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot.

They are:

- Associated Charities of Myrtle Beach, Inc.

- Boys & Girls Club of the Grand Strand, Inc.

- CARE House of the Pee Dee, Inc.

- Conway Hospital Foundation, Inc.

- Family Connection of South Carolina, Inc.

- Guardian Ad Litem 12th Judicial district

- Horry County Literacy Council, Inc.

- John K. Crosswell Home

- Little River Medical Center, Inc.

- Long Bay Symphonic Society

- McLeod Medical Center Foundation

- Mobile Meals of the Grand Strand

- Myrtle Beach Helping Hand

- North Strand Helping Hand

- American Red Cross, Coastal SC Chapter

- Sea Haven, Inc.

- Shepherds Table

- Shriners International

- Southstrand Assembly Food Bank

- St. Christophers Children

- Vital Aging of Williamsburg County, Inc.

- Williamsburg Academy
