Fans of the HBO series Eastbound & Down, have a few more months to wait before the new season begins.

The 3rd season of the sitcom will feature actor Danny McBride as Kenny Powers, a minor league baseball pitcher playing for a fictional team based in Myrtle Beach. Several scenes of the show, including some featuring actor Matthew McConaughey were filmed in Myrtle Beach this summer.

According to the Cinema Blend website, the new season will kick off in January, 2012, though no date has been confirmed by HBO.
