More than 100 people showed up for an afternoon tea party for mothers and daughters. The women could get their nails done, hair styled, and of course, have tea.
The event was to raise money for Burroughs and Chapin Art Museum, specifically for children's art programs.
"There is so much pressure on children and art just frees their mind," says Casey Church with the museum. "It allows them to be creative, it allows them to think outside the box, to color outside the lines, and it really allows them to express themselves and figure out who they are as they are growing up."
This is the first year for the event. Organizers say they hope to continue it again next year.
