A man from Nichols died in a crash on Highway 9 in Horry County Tuesday night.

Agro Crawford, 60, was killed when a driver turned left into a driveway in front of Crawford's car, according to Highway Patrol.

It happened just before 6:30 p.m. about ten miles north of Loris.

Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick said Crawford died from chest injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Highway Patrol is investigating.

No word on the condition of the other driver.
