The Pat Boone Family Theater, at 1808 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach, is scheduled to open October 1st.

The public relations firm representing the theater says construction crews and theater staff are still working to renovate the 18,000 square foot building housing the theater, which used to be NASCAR Café.

The theater will hold a grand opening celebration on October 20th, which is said to include performances by Pat Boone and his family.

The Boones will perform at the theater from October 20th to October 23rd.

The theater plans to offer a range of entertainment including a Merlin award-winning illusionist. Shows will star a variety of well-known performers who appeal to all age groups, from children to senior citizens.

According to the PR firm, the theater will have 600 seats, all within 50 feet of the stage, with HD screen monitors on each side.

Tickets will be on sale online by the end of August. They will range from $24.95 to $34.95 for adults and $6.95 to $8.95 for children.
