Progress Energy will test its sirens at the H.B. Robinson nuclear plant near Hartsville Wednesday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Progress Energy conducts the test every three months.

In an actual emergency, the sirens would alert you to tune into local radio and television stations for information and instructions.
