NewsChannel 15 has learned that police have charged three boys, ages 7, 10 and 12, in connection with vandalism that caused more than $20,000 in damage to the Bennettsville Primary School over the weekend.

We are trying to reach law enforcement about the issues involved in charging someone as young as 7.

We're told all three children have been released to their parents.

Bennetsville police say several windows were broken at the school, a few fire extinguishers were set off and gallons of paint were poured on carpeted floors.
