A Conway lawyer has been disbarred for trying to hire someone to kill another lawyer.
The state Supreme Court ordered Monday that Irby Walker's law license be revoked.
Police recorded conversations Walker had with another person about how much walker would be willing to pay to have Conway attorney Doug Thornton killed.
The men have known each other since 1982, and Thornton said he shared an office with Walker until 2006.
Walker was sentenced to three years in prison in August after pleading guilty to solicitation to commit a felony.
