Myrtle Beach Police are investigating a deadly accident that happened at the intersection of Meyers Avenue and Farrow Parkway just before 6 p.m. Sunday.

Spokesman Capt. David Knipes says Robbie Vernon, 21 of Murrells Inlet, was traveling east on Farrow Parkway when he lost control of his car and crashed into the woods.

Knipes says Vernon died at the scene and another person who left the scene was later caught.  He will not be charged by police.
