Small earthquake reported in Kershaw County

According to the South Carolina Emergency Management Division, geologists at the College of Charleston reported a small earthquake in Kershaw County early Friday afternoon.
The US Geological Survey says the quake was a 2.3 on the Richter scale.
It happened at 1:15 p.m. The USGS says the epicenter was 4 miles NNE of Camden, SC in Kershaw County.
No damages were reported.
One of our Facebook fans said it sounded like a sonic boom or thunder and lasted only a few seconds.
