A Little River man is dead following a motorcycle accident Saturday night in North Myrtle Beach.

Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler says it happened in a parking lot off of Sea Mountain Highway near the swing bridge just after 10:00 p.m.

Fowler says Jeff Cole, 51, was not wearing a helmet when his bike collided with a car.

Autopsy results released Monday show Cole died from blunt trauma to the chest. He also suffered injuries to the head.
