Last week a jury found 28-year-old Aubrey Odum not guilty of first-degree murder by reason of self-defense.

Officials say the trial lasted a month.

Nearly two years ago police say Odum shot and killed 35-year-old Brian McLean inside a Piggly Wiggly grocery store.

Officers say Odum heard McLean was coming to the store to hurt him, so when McLean arrived, they say Odum shot him three times.
