The 15th Circuit Solicitor's Office says Christian Helms was indicted for Attempted Murder and three counts of Possession of Bomb.

He's accused of shooting at Socastee High School's resource officer Erik Karney. Shrapnel wounded Karney's face.

Police say Helms also brought bombs to school in his backpack.

Helms will be tried as an adult. His trial is set to start in August or September. If convicted, he could face up to 30 years in prison for the Attempted Murder charge.

For now, he remains in the Department of Juvenile Justice.
