Deputies say armed robbers hit two businesses in Florence County around the same Thursday night.

Just after 10:00 p.m. this evening, a woman held up the Dollar General on South Irby Street in the Effingham Community and two men robbed the Days Inn Motel on Highway 76.

Investigators are at the scene gathering evidence to see if the robberies are connected.

So far, no arrests have been made.
