Four people charged in 2008 Loris murder

LORIS -- Two and a half years after a man was killed in his Loris home, Horry County police charged four men with murder.
Horry County police found Kelly Joe Elliot dead in his home from a gunshot wound on September 15, 2008.
Investigators found no leads and the case turned cold.
But in March 2011, detectives got a tip. It led them to four men in North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. All four were arrested over the weekend. They'll be formally charged when they're brought back to Horry County.
Arrested:
- Charles Henderson Mullins, 26, was arrested by Sullivan County Sheriff's Office in Tennessee and is in their facility awaiting extradition to Horry County. He's charged with Murder, Armed Robbery, Burglary 1st Degree.
- Bradley G. Mullins, 32, is an inmate at the Red Onion State Prison in Virginia on unrelated charges. He will be extradited to Horry County upon completion of his sentence. He's charged with Murder, Armed Robbery, Burglary 1st Degree.
- Anthony Earl Ray, 33, was arrested by Johnston County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina and is currently in their facility awaiting extradition to Horry County. He's charged with Murder, Armed Robbery, Burglary 1st Degree.
- Arlie Eugene Mullins, 34, was arrested by Monongalia County Sheriff's Office in West Virginia and is in their custody awaiting extradition to Horry County. He's charged with Murder, Armed Robbery, Burglary 1st Degree.
