MCCOLL, SC -- The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has arrested a McColl city councilman, after they say he assaulted a woman.

Edward "Pat" Bradley Odom, Junior, 76, is accused of grabbing a woman at her home around April 5th of last year in Marlboro County.

State police say they were asked by the McColl Police Department to investigate the allegations.

We have contacted a spokesperson for Governor Nikki Haley to find out if the crime Odom is charged with will lead to him being suspended from office. We'll let you know what we find out.
