Horry County Fire Rescue fought a fire on Jesters Court off Lake Arrowhead Road Friday night.

The fire started in the kitchen of the home around 9:00 p.m.

HCFR spokeswoman Leslie Yancey says no one was injured .

Crews on the scene said the fire was contained quickly, and could have been worse because of the proximity to nearby houses.

There's no word tonight on what started the fire.
