Fire investigators say unattended cooking caused a Florence house fire Tuesday.

Four units with the Florence fire department responded to a home on the 1000 block of Brand Street around 4:40 pm.

Firefighters found light smoke coming from the home. When they entered the residence the wall area and the cabinets were smoldering.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire within fifteen minutes.

No injuries were reported.
