A Conway woman checked her Palmetto Cash 5 ticket early in the morning and figured out she won $200,000.
"I wanted to change clothes, but my son wouldn't let me change clothes or brush my hair," she told SC lottery officials in Columbia. "He just kept yelling 'Let's go! Let's go!'"
Her ticket matched all five numbers drawn in the Thursday, March 3, Palmetto Cash 5 drawing (10, 21, 24, 26 and 37). She also bought Power-Up for an additional $1, and saw her $100,000 winnings multiplied by "2" to $200,000.
The woman didn't want her name released.
It took three hours to get to the Lottery office in Columbia. Throughout the drive her son sang, "You are a winner! How does it feel?"
For selling the ticket, Rivertown Depot in Conway received $2,000, a one percent retailer commission.
