Former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson stopped in Myrtle Beach on Monday.

During his visit, he addressed the Myrtle Beach Tea Party at Logan's Roadhouse in Myrtle Beach.

Some say the former two-term Republican governor is considering running for president in 2012.

Johnson won't say whether he's considering a run for the president citing his political advocacy group, Our America Initiative, (http://ouramericainitiative.com/) which is a non profit organization.

When asked how he believes a president should tackle the federal government's $14 trillion deficit, he said, "I would advocate a balanced budget tomorrow, and that means starting off by cutting Medicaid and Medicare, reductions in spending when it comes to Social Security, making Social Security solvent, and defense. Let's start out with the big four."
