Dillon County deputies say they hope to have the identity of a man, whose body was found Monday morning, by late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

The man's body was found alongside Catfish Church Road near the Oak Grove Community .

Captain Cliff Arnette says a passer-by found the body just before 8 a.m. Monday. Arnette has yet to release how the man died but did tell us they're treating the death as a homicide.

We'll let you know when we learn the man's identity.

Dillon County deputies are investigating a body found alongside Catfish Church Road near the Oak Grove Community.

Captain Cliff Arnette says a passer-by found the body just before 8 a.m. Monday. Arnette says they know the body is that of a man, but at this point they aren't sure how he died.

Deputies have called in the State Law Enforcement Division to help process the scene.
