Police are investigating a car verses transformer crash that has knocked out power in several blocks in Little River.

The crash happened just before 8:00 p.m. Monday night on Hermitage Drive.

Kevin Rainer with Horry County Fire and Rescue tells Newschannel 15 a white Lincoln LS hit an electrical power transformer and then went into a front yard of a house.

Right now, Police are not releasing the identity of the couple who was in the car.

No one was seriously injured.

Santee Cooper is on the scene repairing the transformer to restore power to the area.
