SCDOT crews actively working across the state

Department of Transportation officials say light snow is already falling in the upstate including Anderson, Pickens, Oconee, and Cherokee counties.
Along the Grand Strand and in the Pee Dee the first shift of crews reported to work at 10:00 pm.
Officials say across the state nearly 400 maintenance employees are actively involved in road operations and 175 pieces of equipment are in use. That includes snow plows, salt spreaders, and sprayers.
