Officials say the fire began at Second Chance Thrift Shop on Frasier Street across from the Georgetown steel mill.

Crews used three ladder trucks to get the fire under control, but several hours later crews were still putting out hot spots.

The fire did not spread but two buildings around it have water damage.

Officials shut down several blocks of the street.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
