Marlboro County deputies arrested nine people in a three operations recently.
The Marlboro County Sheriff's Office teamed up with the State Law Enforcement Division, Highway Patrol, Bennettsville Police, McColl Police, Clio Police and U.S. Marshals.
In a warrants sweep, crime suppression activities and safety traffic checkpoints, they arrested the suspects for bench warrants, undercover drug buys, outstanding arrest warrants and traffic infractions.
Sheriff Fred Knight said, "When we all team up to conduct operations of this nature it's always successful. It keeps the criminals on their toes to see large groups of Law Enforcement out going door-to-door looking for bad guys. We didn't get all of them this week. but we have many more that will be arrested soon. I again ask that any citizen that has any information about crime activity to call the Sheriff's Office and we will keep your information confidential."
