A Little River family lost its home to fire Wednesday afternoon.

Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the mobile home on DL Drive about 2:30 p.m. A grandmother and her two grandchildren were in the home when the fire started, but were able to get out.

No one was hurt.

Firefighters say although the home may be destroyed, some of its contents may be able to be saved.

They say the fire started around the front porch and spread into the attic. But they don't yet know how the fire started.

Calabash Fire Department helped put out the fire.
