CNN's Elizabeth Cohen speaks at USC's media series

CNN health correspondent Elizabeth Cohen is visiting the University of South Carolina.

(AP) -- CNN health correspondent Elizabeth Cohen is visiting the University of South Carolina to talk about reporting on medical and public health issues.

The schools says Cohen is appearing Monday as the keynote speaker at the school's 2010 conference, "Convergence and Society: Science, Health and New Dimensions of Communication."

Several other journalists visited South Carolina last week as part of a series featuring speakers on news and communication.

CNN political correspondent Candy Crowley visited the university to give her outlook on the 2010 and 2012 election cycles. And former MSNBC correspondent and South Carolina alum Rita Cosby also spoke at the school last week.
