A teenager who disappeared from Myrtle Beach will be the subject of an Investigation Discovery Channel show.
Brittanee Drexel was last seen leaving the Blue Water Resort on Ocean Boulevard on April 25, 2009, the night before she was supposed to return home to New York.
In the beginning, detectives tracked her cell phone signals to an area in Georgetown County. It made a beeline for that area shortly after leaving the hotel last year. But, dozens of searches in the area have yielded little in the way of finding Brittanee.
The show "Disappeared" starts its second season with an episode focused on Drexel. NewsChannel 15 Reporter Graeme Moore was interviewed for the piece. Graeme has been the lead reporter on the case since Drexel's disappearance.
The episode about Brittanee is set to air at 10:00 p.m. Monday on the Investigation Discovery Channel. The show hopes to stir up new leads in Drexel's case and other missing persons cases.
You can watch Part I and Part II of Graeme's special report on Drexel's disappearance.
