Bikers will start making their way on to the Grand Strand today for the annual fall Harley migration.

The Fall Harley Rally has never been as big as the spring events and last year's fall turnout was even smaller than years past.

Many blamed the city of Myrtle Beach's mandatory helmet law for the low attendance. But now that the controversial law has been repealed, business owners are hoping for a better turnout than last year.

The city passed the law and several other ordinances in response to complaints about rowdy behavior. But the South Carolina state Supreme Court struck it down in June.

The rally runs today through Sunday.
