Former students of North Vista Elementary School in Florence delivered school supplies to current students Friday.

The Wilson High School class of 1983 donated notebook paper, pencils, pens, hand sanitizers and other goodies to the school.

The class members say they just wanted to give back to North Vista, because it's where they got their start many years ago.

The school's principal says they can use the extra supplies as so many of their students' parents have lost jobs and are unable to buy supplies.

Many of the students at North Vista are on the free or reduced lunch program.
