Four people died in a Dillon County car accident on Tuesday night.

South Carolina Highway Patrol says two cars were involved in the collision on Old Hamer Road and Kentyre Road around midnight.

The Dillon County Coroner says two men and two women died in the crash.

The coroner will release the names of the victims after their family members are contacted.

Highway Patrol's special accident team is investigating the crash.
