A juvenile living on Peony Lane in the Wachesaw East development in Murrells Inlet told police a man tried to take her Wednesday evening around 7:00pm.

Georgetown County Sheriff's spokesman Russell Goodale says deputies interviewed the suspect and the victim and an investigation is ongoing.

So far, deputies are not releasing any other details about the incident.
