North Myrtle Beach Police say a wanted suspect from Brunswick County, North Carolina led them on a chase to Sea Coast Medical Center in Horry County.

The man, according to North Myrtle Beach Police, ran inside the facility, then back out and stole a van.

The man later ditched the van in the parking lot of a Big Lots store near 6th Avenue South and went inside. They say inside, he called a cab and left the store.

Police worked with the cab company and later arrested the man on the beach in North Myrtle Beach.

His name has not been released.
