Friday night, two lucky families found out they're getting some relief from the heat.

NewsChannel 15 partnered with with After Hours Heating and Cooling and planned on giving away one new heating and cooling system, but we couldn't choose between these two deserving families, so they both won.

Carolyn Prashaw of Myrtle Beach is the caretaker for both her disabled son and her husband who is a military vet and is bedridden with cancer. "I know that there is people out there like these good people, and I'll always bless them and other people that do good for people," said Prashaw.

The Edison and Jackie Dorman of Conway are both on oxygen. Their son-in-law entered their name, and they didn't know they had won until they heard it announced on our 7pm newscast Friday night. "Oh my goodness! i couldn't hardly believe it," Jackie Dorman said.

Their new systems will be installed next week.
