Some pretty unique engines were revving on the Grand Strand Saturday. It was the "F Body Beach Bash Car Show" at the Inlet Square Mall in Murrells Inlet.

There were two separate car shows, one for F-bodies, which are specifically Pontiac Firebirds, Trans Ams and Chevrolet Camaros, and another show for the rest of the field.

But other than the competition it was a chance to check out some really cool cars.

65 awards were given out in 27 different classes Saturday, including best paint job, best interior, most unique and the people's choice.
