A Florence County Circuit Court Judge revoked the bond of a former Lake City High School teacher.

Florence County deputies arrested Kari Campbell, 27, on April 15, 2010 on charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 16 years and lewd act on a minor arising out of an incident with a former student.

Campbell was released on a $15,000 surety bond on the condition that she have no contact with the victim, the victim's family or any other students at Lake City High School.

According to Investigators, telephone records show Campbell repeatedly violated the "no contact" provision of the bond by calling the victim and other students both directly and through others.

According to a press release, Circuit Court Judge D. Craig Brown found Campbell was in violation of a material provision of her bond and ordered that she be held at the Florence County Detention Center until her case can be heard or upon further Order of the Court.
