Hurricane forecasters Philip Klotzbach and William Gray revised their prediction for this season.
They're now predicting 18 named storms and ten hurricanes, five of which may be major.
In April, they said there could be 15 named storms, eight hurricanes and four major hurricanes.
In 2008, the forecasters started using their April forecast and other indicators to update the forecast in June.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association released its report last week.
NOAA's prediction showed 23 named storms this summer with 14 becoming hurricanes and seven of those turning into major storms, with winds of 110 miles per hour or more.
